After the Spring Sing we had to take advantage of the BEAUTIFUL & WARM Spring weather, so we headed outside with the water tables, the trikes, and popsicles..... The boys had a BLAST!!!!!

As we near the end of the Preschool year, Austin had his Spring Sing at school. I loved watching all the kids and getting to see Austin at school with his friends and teachers; Cody LOVES seeing his Big Brother too. What a fun morning.......

Only ONE more month??????

23 months old????

How can you be almost 2 already? Where did another year go? My baby is looking like a little boy now. Cody is so excited to tell everyone he's gonna be 2 and then sings to himself Happy Birthday!!! Cody is talking more and more everyday, but is still our SKINNY little man!!! He started out tiny, then became a cute and chunky baby, and then the moment he started running all that fat just FELL off. I'm actually dreading the 2 year check up; I think he weighed more at 18 months old then he does now, but boy can he put away some food!!! Slow down my Elmo loving, blanky loving, brother loving, mommy & daddy loving, Little People loving, Sleep loving little man!!! We LOVE you Monkey!!!

Since Daddy was stuck in Texas for his 40th BIRTHDAY, we had to celebrate a couple of days later when he got home!!! Austin helped me make Daddy his BIG cupcake. Cody waited 2 whole days to eat it. He was so excited when Daddy finally made it home; he didn't say hi to daddy he just told him CAKE!!!!

So Austin was suppose to take his cap and gown pictures at school last week, but due to HORRIBLE allergies and the AWFUL steroids Austin was put on they were not able to get his pictures. I had to take him home from school early on picture day he felt so awful; the poor guy looked like he'd been punched. He had huge purple bags under his eyes and his eyes were sunken in. Thankfully his cap and gown had arrived at the school and they had me take it home to get some pictures for the school and this was my favorite. Just wait for the school pictures in the next post; you can definitely tell a difference in his appearance in a weeks time!!!

The Boys are LOVING the nice weather. Everyday they ask for Popsicles and to play in the water. It's definitely a fun and easy way to get them to bed easy at night!!!

Hoppy Easter!!!!

Hoppy Easter!!!! We had a very nice Easter, or at least it started out nice for everyone. The boys woke up and found that the Easter bunny left a mess of jelly beans upstairs and were very excited to head downstairs and see what was going on. Of course Cody had to shove jelly beans in his mouth before heading down though. This was Cody's first egg hunt, but he was off and running QUICKLY and found all his eggs plus some of Austin's and then brought them to you to hide all over again. He was so funny! Austin LOVED his Storm Trooper eggs and Cody LOVED his Elmo eggs. Once all their eggs were collected they finally found their baskets of goodies; WOW were they excited!!! When they thought all was said and done there was a knock at the door, the Easter bunny left them a few more surprises. After the excitement of the morning stated to wear off, our little man Cody started getting a little fussy so when I went to put him down for a nap I realized the poor little guy was burning up; Fever but no other symptoms. While he slept the rest of us played Austin's new Wii game and then we had a the pleasure of some friends coming over for Authentic Nashville BBQ for our Easter dinner. What a great Easter we had this year; besides poor Cody getting sick!!!!
