Statesville Balloon Festival October 25, 2009....

For the second year in a row, our family & friends headed to the Annual Statesville Balloon Festival for some fun. We had beautiful weather and we all enjoyed the yummy food and watching all the balloons blow up and float away. Cody was only 5 months old last year so this year was fun to watch his reactions; of course he loved everything. Austin had a blast last year and had been eagerly awaiting this big event to come back again. He loved the bounce houses, the ice cream, and watching the balloons. Another fun family adventure with the Bodell's!!!!

Happy 6th Anniversary Honey!!!! What an amazing 6 years we have had together as husband & wife. Six years ago I became a Bodell, 4 years ago we brought Austin into this world, 19 months ago we moved across the country into an amazing new home, and almost 17 months ago we added Cody to our family. We sure have been busy. I love you more than words can say. Very soon we will enjoy a night out ALONE to celebrate 6 wonderful years; thanks mom & dad!!! Here's a few of my favorite pictures from that AMAZING day!!!!

Our trip to Surfside Beach, SC!!!!!!!!

We finally took a vacation just the 4 of us!!!! We went to Surfside Beach in South Carolina from Oct. 13th ~ Oct. 18th and stayed at a timeshare; thanks Booshie!!!! We all had a blast and the kids did great on the road trip. The first night was a bit rough with Cody in a new place and without his own bed, but by day 2 he was adjusted and back to being our little sleeper again. We did lots of fun things, had some yummy food, went swimming at the indoor pool, and just had some good family time. We went to Ripley's Aquarium in Myrtle Beach (the kids LOVED it), we drove through the state parks looking for alligators, Austin & Daddy went bowling (Austin had so much fun), and we went to Alligator Adventure in Myrtle Beach and saw lots of crazy reptiles!!!! In conclusion to our trip we headed home on our 6th wedding anniversary!!!! Where did the time go? We haven't had our night out alone yet, but hopefully we will shortly!!! What a nice way to spend our anniversary this year; with our 2 greatest accomplishments!!!!
