An update on the new addition!!!

23 weeks and 4 days

Today we had another ultrasound to try and get a better look at our little man and see if he would be a little bit more cooperative in showing his face; and he was!!! It was amazing to see how much he had grown in the past 5 weeks and how he went from looking like a skeleton to a baby!!! He weighed in at a hefty 1 pound 8 ounces. He had BIG feet like his brother Austin, he sucked his thumb like both of his brothers (favoring the right), and he looked so much like Cody. He was very active and by the third picture proved to DEFINITELY be a BOY!!!! The ultrasound today made it all seem so real and we can't wait to meet our little guy.

Yes another cute little Bodell Boy!!!! Ultrasound looked good and baby was moving about. The kids could not come to the ultrasound so we had the technician place the results of the ultrasound in an envelope for Austin to open and announce to us what we were being blessed with. The boys are so excited to be getting a baby brother. I am definitely out numbered in our household, but I will just have to continue being the only princess surrounded by all my little princes. Official due date is April, 10, 2011!!!!

Trip to Washington DC!!!!!!!

June 18th - June 23rd

The kids and I headed out on our road trip to Washington DC to meet Grandma and Grandpa!!! (Daddy had to work) What a FUN trip we had!!! We had dinner on the Potomac, celebrated Grandpa's Birthday, celebrated Father's Day, rode the train/subway, saw The Washington Monument, The World War II Memorial, The Lincoln Memorial, The Korean War Memorial, The American History Museum, The Natural History Museum, The Air and Space Museum, The Capital Building, Arlington Cemetery, The Whitehouse, The Vietnam Memorial, Mount Vernon, and ended our trip home passing thru Mayberry (Mt. Airy, NC)!!!!! Phew!!!! Lots to see and do in such a short time, but we had a blast!!!!
