When we arrived in California (Sunday) we set up camp and spent the night at Grandma & Grandpa's house, but first thing Monday morning we hopped in the car and headed to stay a few days at Booshie's house. The kids were so off on their times because of the time change that Austin was up at 4:30 in the morning and surprisingly Cody slept 'til after 8 (I think the no naps the day before caught up with him), so the kids napped on the drive down. As soon as we got there they woke right up; they were so excited to finally see Booshie. We played outside, visited with neighbors, went to the park, and just lounged around. On Tuesday, we went for a short visit to the beach before I headed off to the airport to pick up Todd (Yay, daddy was finally making it in). Of course on our way back to the house we had to make a detour to pick up In 'n Out and eat it at Mugs Away, but we did finally make it back and we had a nice evening laying around and watching the kids decorate the Christmas Tree. Wednesday morning we woke up bright and early (still thanks to the 3 hour time change) and headed down to the beach for a yummy breakfast and then to the beach to let the kids run around and burn off some energy before heading back to Grandma & Grandpa's. The kids had a blast getting wet and sandy. Austin ended up staying with Booshie and spending the night and Todd and I headed back with Cody to Yorba Linda; next stop nap and then his FIRST HAIRCUT!!!!
